Hello! And welcome to my blog! This feels a bit awkward but that is ok I’m just out of practice of writing. I haven’t written anything probably since high school. Which is kind of why I wanted to start this. Writing was always something I loved to do, but never really made a priority. I am hoping with this blog I can bring all the things I love to one central place. A place where I can practice writing, learn new things, grow, and have fun too.

A few things about me. One, I hate talking about myself. Two, I am a nurse currently working in the operating room and I love it. Three, I have arguably too many hobbies, like crocheting, reading, baking, board games, and now this. Four, I was born and raised in Florida and plan to stay here the rest of my life. But that’s enough about me now.

This blog is meant to serve as a place for my hobbies to come together. To be a kind of home base for them. A place where I can write my opinion on the latest book I have read. Or talk about the newest recipe I tried and how it was either amazing or completely flopped. A place where I can show off my crochet projects and rant about what went wrong or rave about how much I love it. I’m sure there will be plenty of things that don’t fit into one of these categories that I will want to write about. But that’s the whole point.

Now I called this the Davis Weekly because well it’s my last name and my goal is to post once a week. I have always been an overthinker when it comes to naming anything. So, I thought, “let’s keep this really simple”. And that’s how I named it quick, simple, and to the point.

I can’t wait to see what I learn every week!
